I hope to get into fur/quad suit making (of course just a simple halfsuit first) but do you have any suggestions/tips for a newbie?

Uhm...There are so many tips out there...but.. I guess the best thing would be take your time :> Its VERY easy to make mistakes, thta can affect the entire look of the suit. And do research/tutorials those help so much

when I am older I hope to be making fursuits but the head I am making now I have to wait a long time till get the fur. have you ever made a fursuit?

Well the current deviation we are talking on is one of the fur suits I've made. I've made two partials and I am in the middle of a full normally walking fursuit atm.

to fur the heads do you use a head mold or a foam head to put the fursuit head on to help make it because I don't have one.

I don't get exactly what your asking here. If your asking for the head base, of the actually fursuit head, I use both. And you kinda have have one to make a fursuit head X3 If your talking about a mannequin head, you don't have to have one to fur the head, I didn't have one for most of my fursuit heads. They're are more of a commodity then a necessity.

ok that's what I wanted to know. I was talking about the mannequin head I didn't know how I should say it. ^^ but then how do you do it last time I just put a lot of newspaper in the head. XD

I suppose it depends what kind of head you're making? My heads are carved from foam and stand up on their own without any support from the inside.. If its not able to support itself on its own suppose you would need a mannequin head or t something on inside to support it.

Its a foam base but the one thing I don't like about it is that when I got it from fursuitsuppllies.com head was so messed up. one side was bigger than the other. >: (

I've never heard of them selling foam head blanks. I cant say much I have never ordered from them and haven't heard any reviews, but if it very crooked I would defiantly bring this up to them.

Whoo! I wish I could have gone with you guys. I saw you guys at Megacon though! I was the kid in the crutches. So hard to maneuver around the con but seeing 2 friggen well done quadsuits made my day! I might actually be debuting at the Tampa Comic con in a quadsuit! <3
