Description
This is what happens when you're a fan of the movie District 9, Nerf, and high pressure air; shenanigans ensue. I took my ( at this point ) old Nerf Longshot, gutted most of the shell and installed a HPA system to replace the feeble spring-powered propulsion system for launching foam darts. The result is a 2.6Kg ( 5.7lb ) pump-action monster that by happy accident does indeed closely resemble the 'gas thrower' weapon from District 9, as used by the alien character Christopher Johnson at one point. It's all fully functional with a removable air bottle and airsoft replica holographic sight- lots of fun but rather unwieldy, just as alien weapons should be...
