Look at Blackstone, pre-scar and before he failed his children. He was so full of hope and life. I imagine that this was very soon after the first litter's birth and so Swiftkit is pretty young here. Blackstone is so proud of Swift, both back then and now.

Cats:
Blackstone - Me
Swiftkit/Swiftrabbit - QueenVivi

I am up for a bonding rp if you are? I feel like Black would be really concerned about Swift (especially since Briar went missing).

Swiftrabbit had never seen the ocean before, but he could understand now what cats meant when they said it's endless waters could inspire quite the decent amount of terror. 'Cept instead of green-blue liquid dashing against a sandy shore, at his paws, Swiftrabbit stood before a sea of cats. Yes, many...many cats. Swallowing nervously, he took another step back from the edge of limbs, whiskers and conversations.
This was overwhelming!
While Swiftrabbit wasn't exactly hard-core 'Hate the non-Clanners!' like his father, Swiftrabbit admittedly didn't like this new arrangements in the least. Hovering warily in the shadows, he could only watch as the Mill cats crowded around the fresh-kill pile and High positions, making it impossible to either eat or request to go on patrol without bumping into one of them. Was it honestly a really good idea with inviting so many cats into the clan? I mean, especially at such a perilous time?
He sighed lightly, turning his sights to the distant horizon. He wondered if it was more quiet all the way out there...He wondered if Peanutcharm would have enjoyed all this activity. Ears drooping lightly, the warrior concluded she probably would have complained loudly about it but ultimately made all sorts of friends..."I wish you were here," he sighed lightly, closing his eyes, recalling painfully the night starclan had fallen from the sky.

Blackstone’s eyes narrowed as he watched all these newcomers swarmed around the clans. The scarred warrior hated them, and he wish that the leaders would have just sent them away. In the tom’s mind, they weren’t worth the effort it would take to train them, teach them the Clan ways, and they would never have the same sense of loyalty as a cat born into the clans. Time had proven again and again that Blackstone’s views were true, and that these strangers were too weak to live in the clans. Hopefully all of these mill cats would prove him right, and Sparklestar would see the error of her ways.

Disgusted with what he saw, Blackstone moved away from the fresh kill pile and the leaders, his broad shoulders were used expertly to shove all of the rabble out of his way. His pale amber eyes scanned the surrounding cats for a glimpse of his family. Most of them might not be talking to him right now, but Blackstone deeply cared for them. His eyes moved past the shadows of a few bushes and he almost missed a black and white cat lurking there. Blackstone’s instincts kicked in and his claws unsheathed as the Leafclan warrior did a double take, only for the scarred tom to freeze when he realised exactly who it was. Swiftrabbit. Blackstone wasn’t sure what to do, since there was this invisible divide between them, but after everything his son had gone through, Blackstone wanted to be close to him now more than ever.

“Swiftrabbit,” Blackstone called, his voice was unusually gentle, “Come.”

//aahh super sorry for the late replyy

Swiftrabbit nearly leaped into the air in shock when he heard his name being spoken. Distracted by his thoughts on his deceased friend he hadn't been prepared for being called upon. Especially not by his father. The tom glanced around, ears lowered nervously as he shifted his gaze in the direction of his father. He hadn't spoken to Blackstone in quite a while...Really, he hadn't spoken to any of his family members. It was surprisingly easy, disassociating from them. So far only his father had ever attempted to fix what Swiftrabbit had broke, but even he hadn't been able to break down Swiftrabbit's strong walls. Only one cat had managed to do that and she was gone...
Shaking his head, Swiftrabbit wondered if he'd ever stop thinking so much of the deceased molly.
Looking back up at the direction of his father, Swiftrabbit decided...oh why the heck not. Getting to his feet, the lanky tom headed over to his inverted doppelganger. Each step was reluctant, wary. Part of him still expected his father to punish him...for what and how, he didn't really know. The eprks of anxiety, really. "Do you need me?" he asked, lowering his head slightly in a polite manner as he stopped a safe distance.
His mind flashed to when he had been a child, and his terror when he first laid eyes on his massive father. Swiftrabbit had grown significantly since then, but he was still smaller than Blackstone. Still hesitant. It was depressing, but what could he do? Well...besides try. Gazing at his paws a moment, the warrior finally sucked in a breath and let it out in a breath, lifting his head to look at his father, meeting his eyes, "Do -uh - do you want to go on a walk...?" he paused, then added, awkwardly, "With -uh -me, I mean...y'know just the two of us...outside-" He knew he was in danger of babbling, so he quickly snapped his jaws shut from going any further.

((It's okay. I haven't been so active on the rp department myself))

Blackstone watched as Swiftrabbit slowly approached him, and while the scarred tom hadn’t exactly expected his oldest to come running towards him, he didn’t expect so much reluctance. It reminded Blackstone of a kit that thought they were in trouble, and he couldn’t help but wonder if that was a reflection on himself or Swiftrabbit’s state. The black and white warrior had always been a quiet, distant kit, but Blackstone couldn’t help but wonder if it had gotten worse during the journey. He would have had to be blind to miss that Swiftrabbit was close to a certain she-cat, and now that she-cat was gone.

At Swiftrabbit’s words, Blackstone froze. Four simple words, that caused Blackstone to stare at his son and ponder. Of course, Blackstone needed Swiftrabbit, he was his son, his kin, and Blackstone thought it unbearable not to have the lanky tom in his life. He watched as his son spoke awkwardly, but it seemed like he wanted to spend time with him. That thought warmed Blackstone’s heart.

“I would like that,” Blackstone responded quietly, “Do you have a place in mind? Do you want to lead the way?”

Blackstone knew he wasn’t good with words, and he tried to be very careful with them around Swiftrabbit. So far both of his eldest sons seemed to dislike him, and Blackstone wanted to change that. It was easier to do so with Swiftrabbit, since as far as he knew, Swiftrabbit didn’t despise him like Ryeblaze did.  Even if he did, Blackstone had let this distance come between them for long enough.

Part of him was almost startled that Blackstone had agreed. The other part of him was almost terrified that Blackstone had agreed. But when he looked to find Blackstone's hard, battle-lined face soft with warmth, well...its hard to be scared of a face like that. He recalled, suddenly, an old memory of himself as a child. Squealing in fright as a lumbering badger of a cat loomed over him like the embodiment of all his nightmares. But as soon as he leaned down and light shone on his face, Swiftkit had known right away that this was his dad. His protector.
Where had that feeling gone?

Blinking out of that thought, he nearly missed his father's question. "Oh - uh -" he stammered, looking around the clearing as if he expected a trail to appear right before him. Seeing as the clans traveled near every day, it was hard, really, to acquaint one's self with the land. Swiftrabbit himself - almost always lost in thought whilst patrolling, never really paid attention to any land marks or peaceful places to rest. Honestly he had just wanted a bit of one-on-one time with his father, no other aim besides just...well, just walking! But Swiftrabbit didn't want his father to realize how extremely unprepared he was, so after a bit of "uuuhh" -ing, the young warrior finally said, "Uh, theres a stream nearby-" yeah, he remembered that, a wide clearing with a stream running through it - you could see up to the sky while also being shaded by the canopy and the babbling water gave a nice atmosphere of peace. Just guess who he'd thought would have loved to see that simple, peaceful clearing when he came upon it. Just guess.

With the destination set, the warrior finally swallowed and nodded at his father's inquiry of leading the way. Taking only a moment to suck in air, then expel it rapidly to calm his nervousness, the lanky tom headed, then, for the entrance to the make-shift camp. He wondered all the while if this was a good decision...or if somehow he'd mess up again and this would be the last good father-son moment they'd share.
Dear Starclan he wished Peanutcharm was here to cheer him on!

((Blackstone is totally not awkward in his own right. Nope.))

When Swiftrabbit started to stutter, Blackstone realised that he had made a mistake in asking Swiftrabbit to lead the way. His intention was to show his eldest that he trusted his judgment, but now he feared that he had put too much pressure on the black and white tom. Thankfully Swiftrabbit had picked a spot and Blackstone could only hope it was one Swiftrabbit would feel comfortable in. Although, with the constant travelling, it would be hard to feel comfortable anywhere.

“A stream sounds good,” Blackstone murmured, his pale amber eyes remained focused on his son, and his expression remained indifferent.

Swiftrabbit lead the way, at Blackstone’s suggestion. Blackstone followed the slender tom closely, his ears twitched, ready to pick up any sounds that would spell out danger for them. His eyes were still focused on his eldest, and Blackstone hoped this would get rid of the distance he felt with him. There had been too much distance between Blackstone and his family recently.

The journey seemed peaceful, and soon they had stumbled upon the stream. It was well covered, trees were scattered all around them, and while they weren’t as dense at Leafclan’s old territory had been, it was much better than the open fields they had been travelling along.

“You picked well,” Blackstone said in an approving tone, as he nodded at his son, “Is there any particular spot you would like to stay, or would you rather sit somewhere nearby?”

His son’s comfort was Blackstone’s main concern right now. He couldn’t expect to grow closer if Swiftrabbit felt anxious. Although for as long as the scarred warrior had known his son, he always seemed a little nervous and anxious.

Blackstone is such an asshole, but I feel he genuinely cares for his kits. How he treated Frozensky wasn't okay, of course, but idk. The guy makes me feel some kinda way ; v ; <3

Well he mostly has good intentions, especially towards the beginning. He was a bit wary of not being a good dad because his dad wasn't really around for him. I think he would have a heart attack if he realised just how much he was like his dad he is.
