Description The true darkness at the heart of all large business enterprises.

A two faced clown in a suit with a smile that never touches their eyes. No soul or heart to be troubled by making sweeping cuts in peoples lives without a moments thought.

Reason for being = profiting from you and your endeavours.

wow. thats good interpretive art. you should hear the song "Anchors Away" by the band Five Iron Frenzy. it speaks about this topic, but more pertaining to manipulative advertising/news media, which are still big corporations....

"and now the freedom of the press/has turned to freedom to impress/perfect hair sells product well/like suffocating, sickly smells/like glossy, sugar-coated shells" (shells as in bullet casings.. )

i once intended to make a flash music video in the style of your work here, but i never got around to it.... the song has sort of a 'macabre' feel to it, if you know what i mean...

their song "American Kryptonite" also speaks of Capitalism...

anyway, nice work. clapclapclap

yeah, theyre not really mainstream. this piece of yours just reminded me of it, because its somewhat what i envisioned when i though about storyboarding a music video for the song. the B&W suits just scream "corporate demon".... hehehe

................people vs power......................

Corporations have immense economic power and maintain a stranglehold over the world economy. Only constant vigilance and a continued struggle by people's groups will reverse the spread of neoliberal globalization and uphold the economis sovereignty of the world's developing countries.

Some might imply social change derives primarily from the actions of groups and political movements, but individuals also have a part to play in bringing about conditions in positive social change. There is a need for 'ordinary' people to take action as 'organic' intellectuals by just talking to one another. As our critical knowledge grows so will our ability to challenge the propaganda of conservatism. We can then begin the important process of questioning social inequalities. We need a critical focus in raising the social consciousness of others.Social interaction is the foremost method of achieving social change.

That is why such statements as "Senior Management" are so important.. It stimulates discourse not only through the artist but the viewer as well.It can only enhance our way of thinking.

I might be interpreting this incorrectly but the use of windsheild wipers to push away any empathy for impoverished individuals and countries. The mouth with such a false smile that is just waiting to chew you up. Blue eyes of the western countries who do nothing but take. I am not sure if the statue arising from the inside of his head is an emerging of of a conscious...don't think so. Maybe the rise of the WTO...sounds more like it..?..has she got it wrong!..thank god that's over...

..............conspiracy theory.

Suilenroc In reply to Maurya2 [2007-02-24 10:38:27 +0000 UTC]

Wow that's one heavy global interpretation , much more considered than Our knee jerk response to the way the Senior Management are heaping inequalities on indifference at Our workplace.

As to the image itself - the windshield wiper things are a cross between scissors (for cuts) and wipers to remove the tears of the suffering employees. You are spot on with the "smile" and the blue eyes.

The statue rising out of the top of the head was meant to represent a CCTV camera to signify the need for constant monitoring of employees - because they can't be trusted can they?

Not a accurate representation but We claim artistic indifference to actuality. We know what We mean. Probably
