So this summer was a thousand times more busy than I had thought it could be. @_@; I ended up doing a lot more sketching than actually finishing pictures. BUT I know that I actually love looking at people's sketchdumps, and I figured that just coloring a bunch of faces would put me in a good mood and warm me up to other drawings each day.

I was totally right and I'm loving it.

Currently I'm working on two manga-type projects and the semester is beginning. So I have no idea what will happen from here, but I'm praying for the best!

(Is it just me or do sketches seem to have more life than some finished art...?)

1) Julie from "Ring & Chain"*
[I really don't know what happened here- it doesn't even look like my style!! XD She almost makes me think of a frog here. Whoops.]
2) Shinsuke and Yura from "Stop the Moon"*
[I was trying to force myself to draw Shinsuke, because for some reason I don't ever really want to. Yet I love drawing Yura and she's so much harder to draw!]
3) Mitsuki from "Stop the Moon"*
[In just about every picture I've ever finished of Mitsuki, I always chicken out and give her kinda milky-mocha skin, but she's supposed to be very dark. I'm glad I finally colored her right; I think she looks absolutely beautiful here. <3 ]
4) Leilais from "Stop the Moon"*
[That forehead design would actually be hidden under the hair, but it was a sketch, so... Meh.]
5) Suisei, my avatar*
[I had no intention of coloring this, but it looked odd as the only monochromatic picture. ...It looked better before. XD]
6) Yatto from "Stop the Moon"*
[He's also harder to draw, and yet... Well, I was inspired to draw him after ~Aeonu drew him for me.]
7) Deydra, ~Aeonu 's OC
[I had to sketch her before doing the actual image. She really does have a very interesting design.]
8) Mai and Aang from "Avatar: The Last Airbender"
[ALRIGHTY.... This was going to be my "AU" piece for Zutara Week. But I figured it might be seen as- oh, I dunno- a declaration of war. XD Or a sin against the fandom or something. It's Zutara. And Maiaang. AND IS THAT A HEART-SHAPE!?!?! No, it's an X!!]
9) Mia from "Stop the Moon"*
[Old drawing. I was trying more dynamic poses, but her boxy clothing doesn't lend well to this picture! Also, her face just looks weird.]
10) Mai from "Avatar: The Last Airbender"
[You know... I really think she would be one of the most popular characters in Avatar if not for her design. It's not like the fandom dislikes snarky, withdrawn, strong-willed characters. And Mai is awesome! She just... has a strangely lumpy hairstyle and unflattering clothes and she's often drawn with a long face and no accents to her eyelashes or lips. It boggles my mind, really. I could go on about this for quite a while.]
11) Aurora*
[I actually had no name for her, and I think she was just a doodle of a woman's face, but as I was coloring her I thought of the Greek goddess of the sunrise, and so here she is.]
12) Mia from "Stop the Moon"*
[A much nicer- and more recent, hmm- picture of Mia. IMO.]
13) Leilais and Shinsuke from "Stop the Moon"*
[They don't get along well. Maybe Shinsuke heard I like drawing Leilais more than him.]
14) Ogo from `alohalilo 's "Kiskaloo"
[I really love this comic, even if it's been aborted. I recommend it to anyone that won't whine that it's discontinued. Here, I tried coloring dark-to-light to make Ogo look fluffier, but it just ended up making him blurry. Ah well.]
