Sasuke backhanded the girl before she could finish her sentence. Ordinarily it would have meant a just bruise on her cheek, but the force he'd used had ended up being too much again, resulting in her being slammed into the wall behind her. She slowly slid down the wall and her body shivered--whether it was from the shock or the effort of crying, Sasuke didn't know. He crossed the room and stood over her, waiting for her to look up at him before he spoke again. As expected, it didn't take long.
Aka met his gaze with tears welling up in her eyes and blood trickling down her chin. In a way the sight was satisfying, because he knew she was in pain, but he also knew she wouldn't leave him alone unless he seriously hurt her, which was out of the question if he wanted to keep learning new techniques. Settling for a threat was a weak second, but it would have to do for now.
"I don't want to hear about this again," Sasuke said in a low voice, speaking slowly so Aka would be sure to hear every word. "If you won't stop 'caring' about me, I don't care what Orochimaru says...I will beat it out of you."

Background info:

Aka, after learning who the dark-haired boy in the old Team Seven picture was, why he left, and the feelings and opinions of those he'd left behind, is curious about the traitor's side of the story. Unfortunately for her, said traitor is unwilling to let her in on anything...no matter what it is.

When I showed this picture to my mom, she was like O_o, which makes sense, as I don't typically draw these kinds of things. XD; Aka still looks cute even when she's all "beat up".

Sasuke's stance looks a little off...mostly because the picture started out with just him in it. XD Katana (or whatever variety of it it is Dx) looks weird plz. Dx Which is why it fades into the background so ingeniously. And NO, he is not going to stab her or anything. But he wants to.

Will add textures and make into a wallpaper. First, what do you think of the yellow in the background? The textures are going to be of a similar color, but I want to know if the color is liked in comparison to the picture.

Tools: SAI (brush, watercolor)
Time: .....about 2 hours
