So, um, this fellow is why I've not been uploading anything for the past few months. He hurt his leg and it had to be amputated (the other choice was to put him down). He's gotten a lot better since his surgery, and he's in the process of learning to walk again.Related content

Yeah, this picture wasn't even a month after his operation. I believe this was taken the day he came home, or possibly a few days after.
Haha, he's naughty in mostly bad ways. (He likes to bite my feet. Hard - I have scars from him doing this.) He doesn't bring me dead lizards/birds/mice so much anymore, now that he doesn't go outside.

Nice cat! Lately I saw another cat with one leg (also at the back) missing while delivering mail (parttime postman...).
I was surprised how she was enjoying life or actually the sun while pushing herself (or himself?) forwards with just
one leg. After I gave her some attention she followed the habits of a few other cats by trying to walk with me.
Although you allready know you've made the right choice to let him live you might like to hear this. When thinking
back of the other cat I think they made the right decision also. I don't know how much time had past between the
surgery and this photo but he allready seems to look a bit naughty (in a good way!).

He probably was; this picture was taken the day he got home from the vet, less than 48 hours since his leg was removed. I, too, would be not so happy with the world if I were in his position.

He's doing much better now. He can turn around without falling over most of the time, he's getting along better with our dogs, and his scar is a lot less noticeable now that the fur is finally beginning to grow back.
