I've had thoughts lately of re-drawing many characters from animated TV programs I watched as a child, this time being adults instead of children. It would be a fun challenge and a nice way to recall pleasant memories, even if the programs themselves don't age well. Case in point, this here is what I believe Jason Conrad, the main protagonist of 321 Penguins, would look like as a young adult in college or late high school.

For those who don't know, 321 Penguins was a bizarre little mini-series made by the same creators of Veggietales that aimed for a different take on telling morals and Bible lessons; combining elements of Alice and Wonderland and Futurama, it centered on a pair of twins in need of maturation who go on wacky imaginary space adventures with a crew of anthropomorphic penguins. Looking back, I don't think it ages well since it's pretty formulaic and it doesn't execute the morals and stories as well as Veggietales, but I'd be lying if I said it doesn't has some charm.
