This weekend the Korean Open Beta Testing for Tera happened. It is such an addictive game... Damn
Has it flaws, but certainly did make me wish for more.Anyway, here was my char for this last 8 days of testing.
Photoshop CS5, around 4h.

This is a very beautiful portrait. I love the details and softness of the skin and her mysterious smile. It's like a more seductive Mona Lisa. Lol

Very well drawn, but her face is too human-like for a Castanic. When drawing other races it's important to notice their bone structure as well as everything else. :>

Eu uso só photoshop mesmo cara, nunca me entendi com o painter direito, apesar do painter 12 parecer muito mais promissor que os anteriores, ainda não parei pra testar de verdade...

Pois é, no meu caso é com o PS que eu não me acerto muito, uso ele só pra alguns detalhes e efeitos... mas o corel painter é o meu preferido pra pintura mesmo! vale a pena dar uma olhada na versão 12, tem pra baixar a versão de teste no site da corel.

Já me falaram mesmo pra usar o painter, mas eu tenho zero (zero mesmo) de experiencia com pintura tradicional, então ele faz pouco ou nenhum sentido pra mim

aham, é verdade, até pq fica mais "democrático", todo mundo (ou quase todo mundo) entende...
falando em pintura tradicional, sabe que eu acabei por fazer o caminho inverso tbm, eu comecei pintando digital, no painter. e depois, na facul de artes, tentei aprender óleo (curta experiência, mas não tenho paciência pra esperar taaanto tempo pra tinta secar), acrílica e aquarela. na acrílica consigo fazer várias coisas legais, é um medium bem versátil, mas é com a aquarela que eu me identifico mais. adoro a cara de coisa antiga que fica a pintura feita com aquarela... se tu quiser tenho um monte de ebooks que podem te dar um help...
