So!I had a three-day weekend due to a holiday!
I am happy I was able to work on something. I have deviated from my path a bit, but I think I am on my way back, artistically speaking.I did spent a great deal of time reviewing my stuff, and I found out I did lost a bit on the way, so I worked on getting it back on my art.
Hope I can work more on personal stuff soon, cause man, this next week will be rough.
So!
Iluviya, my character from World of Warcraft (again, I know right?). Blood elf, warlock, on Shadowmoon Valley.

O_O... this is... some of the best art work I've seen.. that is amazing... I've been Desperately trying to get better at art work myself. However if you even glance at my stuff it holds no candle to this. This is just… fantastic.. *Stares* and so I’m going to do something I normally don’t like to ask sense I like to do things myself.. However I just gotta ask. If I could request if you had the time to do a picture of my very own warlock? Vendrilla.. I can give more detail if you require! Again… this picture is just marvelous.

Very beautiful painting! I especially like how you did Iluviya, including her facial features and the style of her hair and the outfit that she's wearing. The background and the lighting effects surrounding her came out really good also!

Sulamoon, this piece rocks my pants! I love her facial expression & the overall feeling it gives me when I'm looking at this painting.
When I look at this picture, I want to know absolutely what she is looking at & what she thinks.
There is also something going on far away, because there is some yellow light in the clouds. This intrigues me so much.
It really makes me go ~ ' I want to know what is happening so BAD! ' :3
Her ears look interesting to me, I never seen inside ears like hers, is it your style or are they really like that?

Yeah, there is something going on, but it is just my roleplay going overboard heh ^^
The ear: well, its just me - I don´t feel the way people are flattening the ear towards the point seems natural, so I just added a bit more detail

Eu queria aproveitar parea te perguntar uma coisa... Essas linhas retas e definidas são pura habilidade manial ou existe uma técnica para fazer? Meu controle com a pen da tablet não chega perto de um lápis e papel, tenho q ficar riscando e voltando toda hora até q a linha misticamente saia como eu quero, além de que no papel eu consigo usar régua quando necessário.
Eu vejo desenhos tão bem feitos com linhas tão definidas e imagino se minha genius tem culpa de eu não chegar em um resultado similar. Smpre quis perguntar isso a alguem com experiência em pintura digital.

Então, desenhar linhas retas depende de mais do que a tablet, depende de coordenação manual também... mas como vc disse, vc pode usar uma régua com lápis, então pq não usar as réguas digitais que o photoshop oferece?
Aqui nesse desenho, tudo menos o cabelo tem máscara de vetor, q deixa a linha assim, super definida e retinha (eu não usei sharpen no final do desenho não). É bem o equivalente a régua, mas com mais opções
Usar seleção tb é muito bom, aquele poligonal lasso tool é ótimo pra fazer cortes retinhos rápido.
De qualquer forma, consigo fazer linhas bem certinhas com a tablet, vc vê ali no cabelo, ele não tem máscara nenhuma.

aha! valeu... realmente eu pensei nas réguas como máscaras de vetor. Em alguns momentos elas ajudam em outros não. De modo simples parece que para ter linhas mais definidas q não sejam retas, ainda vou depender da agilidade e da sorte da linha sair como quero. Eu ainda não consegui, e olha q faz tempo, tentar traçar linhas lentamente, como no papel, mas elas sempre acabam tremidas.
Tenho observado que os resultados acabam dando certo quando uso a cor sob a camada de linhas, pois o traço do lápis scaneado define a zona de choques das cores. Mas venho tentando me aproximar das técnicas de claro escuro (contraste) ao invés dos desenhos com linha.
Dai eu tenho pouco contato, infelizmente, com pessoas que também usem o computador pra colorir e assim pegar algumas manhas da ferramenta. Dentre as minhas dúvidas está a real diferença de usar uma tablet genius q vc encontra na padaria e uma cultuada wacom intuos, 10 vezes mais cara.
