To people saying that this is a final battle of sorts: possibly, but there are still so many threads left hanging, so many character archs to complete, and some more general plot progression to take place before the ACTUAL final battle takes place.Β
If there is a fight, though, I think this'll be the fight where Jen comes into her own in the fullest possible extent, leaving her arch nigh-finished. With the exception of some stuff relating to Mewtwo, Lovrina and Gengar (and maybe Keckleon), I'd say her growth arch's coming to an end.Β

And this was the moment when I realized that this comic has taken a design as cutsey as Victini's and made it honestly terrifying. My first reaction to seeing Victini in that panel was total panic for Jen. Still a bit worried despite the fact that Victini probably lost their powers as well, meaning that even if it did come down to a fight it would be martial arts vs an unhappy rabbit.
(Now I'm wondering if that's the reason Jen knows how to physically fight in the first place. Building up to some showdown or another in the Everything Is Bad Forever zone.)
This does look like some serious end of comic stuff happening. Do you have plans for any other stories or comics you might think of starting some time after VF finishes, or will the end of VF just be it? Weird to think of VF ending, it's pretty much the only reason I get on DA at all anymore.

Everyone's like "oh crap Victini" but honestly, I'm kinda wondering how long she's been there. I mean, does she have nothing better to do than sit around near the broken universe engine? Did she know that Jen was coming to fix it? Has she left to eat? Just my thoughts. And what Jen did with the dust was pretty clever, definitely thinking like a human

A pouty brat that had to sit alone in a dark room looking into the dark without anyone to talk to. The next few words are key here.

oh yeah! You reminded me of something; Victini's like a kid, as you said, and so far, Jen's been shown to be a very compassionate, understanding little girl. Perhaps, with her pure little heart and buckets of empathy, they could talk things trough? It's worked well for Jen in the past, and it might just be what Victini needs (granted, she could have spoken with Mewtwo, but she wasn't depowered and probably not feeling as defeated as right now), as I doubt she's really had anyone to confide in, considering she's only really been around enemies and people that despised her. Maybe this "final battle" will be an empathetic talk between the two - Victini's probably not feeling too good about the XD process she underwent, and is probably just sad and alone in general.Β
It'll be very interesting to see where Sulfurbunny takes this next.Β
