Tensaikun is Shizuka's romantic foil (he likes her, she likes Hakketsu) . . . he's quite a loner (orphan, as many of my characters in the Apocalyptic story are; the idea of removing a stable parental figure from a developing child's life interests me from a psychological standpoint) and one of the few surviving descendants of the first prophet, Zarathustra (Zoroaster) . . . being as such, his family has a long history adept exorcists coming from it (that's right, Tensaikun casts spirit from flesh--what SHOULD be a biological impossibility according the accepted mode of monism). his name is written with the characters for "seal" (made present participle with the"jiru" suffix), and "disaster". scrapness. blech.
