Background-
Since Rick's childhood, his father expected from him a lot because he was his only son, But Rick never managed to do it. Due to it, their relationship was tough.

While the academy, Rick was growing to be a hot temper kid who didn't get along very well with the other kids.
Eventually he was assigned to a team, but because of his hot temper personality he couldn't get along with them at all.

His skills were much higher than the other teammates as a result of that Rick was very hasty and snobbish to them.

After a while of working together, which didn't go that well, Rick's actions cause to his female teammate to get hurt badly from it, she didn't want to work with him any longer and caused him to move to another team who just needed third person, team 7 who just lost Tomoa month before.

Before meeting Chisaki and Izumu, Rick trying to change himself to be much calm and nice person, which don't last too long after meeting Izumu that not stopping to tease him over his height which making him to come back to his original personality.

Soon after, they were send to the Chunin exam which they failed in the second stage. Rick realized that now, his teammates are stronger then him and he find it hard to accept.

In age 13-14, The team send to the hidden stone village, part of a program which cause two teams from different lands to train with them and going to special missions together. To improve the contact between the lands.

There, the team meets Seto, Mika and Justin. In the beginning, Rick can't get along with the other team, they are high skill shinobis except of Mika, which is a bit clumsy and causes Rick to come down on her harshly and storming out. After realizing he was the weaker one in his team, comparing to the other two, Rick became much anxious from this reason. in the same week, one of their activity was canceled due the weather, but before one of the teachers could tell it to the teams, Rick was on his way to the meeting area.

Seto, from the other team volunteer to go and look for him. Soon after, Seto finds him not in the best mood, and gives him a peep talk, about his behavior and that he is a very skilled guy. The two are coming back, to their worried teams.

In the same day, only in the evening, Rick taking a walk to the village and finds a nice park to sit there and try to organize his head, soon after arriving, Seto is appearing and the two starting to talk, Rick tells him all about his social problem and the fact that he is the weaker one on his team, which Seto tells him to stop to compare himself to others. In the end of the talk, Seto kisses Rick only as teasing which Rick reacts badly and funny.

Soon after coming back home, Rick realizing that he needs to stop comparing himself to other and instead to try to become a better person for himself.

His relations with his teammates is getting well and even great.

-Rick is the shorter male in his group of friends and always looking a bit younger than everybody else in his age. Also, Izumo love to tease him for his height.

-Rick have a sister complex. He has 3 sisters (2 older and one younger) is younger sister is his favorite because the older 2 used to dress him like a girl when he was a little kid and once they embarrassed him in front a girl that he liked.

-He is over protective about his sisters and doesn’t see the dark side of his little sister.

-One-time Izumo saved Liz (Ricks younger sister) from falling from a tree and falling in love with him. A0fter Rick found out about that he beat the shit out of Izumo and said "If you ever touch my sister again I'll kill you".

-In some point in his life, Rick is growing a pony tail, thinking it will make him look older and cooler – it's not.

-Rick was in love with Chisaki for a pretty long time.

-Rick have problems with his dad, that don't believe in Rick so much. And after Rick confess to Seto his dad threw him from the house and Rick started to live alone from 17 years old.

-He joins the Anbu in the age of 18 and almost get killed on his first mission. Something happening on this mission (long story) and he get the ability to see in the dark.
