Haha I had to make Gin into a Helios Conference NPC because a lot of my friends wanted me to and plus it sounded fun.

It was a tough decision between his pokemon, but I decided on these three.
and their moves changed because they leveled up. well, Soul's did. lol.

Gin is a 12 year old boy from Fortree city in the Hoenn region.
He's gone far, catching many pokemon and beating many gym leaders and championships.
because I mean every 12 year old in the pokemon world has like practically saved the world at least once hurr durr
anyways. the kecleon jacket.
When he was about 2, Gin met a kecleon who he named Leif. they were inseperable and grew up together. His mother even sewed him his current kecleon jacket to represent his bond with Leif. anyways.
When Gin was about 10, Leif and Gin were walking outside of Fortree when they encountered a rough looking Mightyena. They tried to battle it, but then it was joined by the rest of its pack, and the two knew that it wouldn't end well. Leif tried to buy Gin some time to escape, during which he ran to the gym leader Winona to get her help. When they returned, it was too late.
Gin had lost his best friend that day, and soon began to despise battling.
He sat at the edge of the city day after day, unsure of what to do, when an Absol appeared before him. It began to sit with him for days and days, simply trying to console him.
This Absol, who Gin renamed Soul, reignited the flame of battle in Gin, and so he started his journey.
He ended up catching a Raichu named Blackout and a shiny Charmander, who grew into a Charizard, named Blaze, and with these three pokemon he defeated the elite four of Hoenn and moved on to the Sinnoh region. There, he caught Kaos the shiny Gyarados (then it was a Magikarp), Tama the Gastly, and Inu the riolu who he received in an egg and evolved into a Lucario.
He ended up beating the gym leaders and league of this region, as well, and now travels the Isshu region and enters various contests as well.

he also has a brother named Tang, 18, who just recently returned from the orange islands and loves Gin to death.
