So I read this current event prompt and decided I had to participate.Though Wave hadn't prepared a balloon for the original event (not that this has ever stopped him before, he's just a bit slow to jump on events!) he wouldn't be deterred! Excitedly, he ran to the nearest place he knew would have something resembling balloons (the nearest graveyard, ofc) and swiped a few up, floating off to the starting point!
Though just when he was about to join in the festivities, lo and behold, his biggest type disadvantage rushes forth, in all its intimidating glory!
Don't worry, he'll (probably) escape unharmed!
(Note: Benjamin is extremely upset with him and is probably gnawing on Wave's tail aggressively.)

I think in this instance he's still over the land, too, which poses a lot of fun, but he's too scared to let go! he gathered up ALL those friends!

it went something genuinely like
oh god
so you know the song running in the 90s right
so he wakes up, and he's like "oh no"
sitting in this hole in the beach he decided to nap in, and it takes a second to realize that 5 MONTHS HAVE PASSED, right
so he SLAMS UP and runs through the town square, sees the flyer and thinks "hot air balloons. balloons. drifloons? GRAVEYARD" and just
montage blaring, bolts through the graveyard just YOINKING up these bad bois
(he's quite charismatic so they didn't mind)
