Made this off and on over the last 3 days in Photoshop.I've learnt a bit from this, mainly about detail, but I still have a way to go yet
I really like how the gas giant, well everything actually, came out - all that brushing really paid off.

Your brushing really did pay off...I love the small detail on all the nebulae and stars...great job with using light, and good composition...it might be cool to have a really detailed, but painted, planet...hehe nice job.

Yea, I think I might try painting a planet then just add a bit of texture over it with a photo of concrete or something.
Its time I make a really really good piece, so I think with my next one I'll go all out
And I'll probably be recording the screen as I make it, so look forward to a video walkthru in the future

This is gorgeous! All the detail is hurting my eye. You even took a simple gas planet and was able to put your sexy detail into it. Your the best brusher I've seen

Excellent job on the nebulas, but the planet could use a little more work. The shadow seems a little odd because it isn't very uniform. The planet could also use a storm or two on its surface and some turbulence to make it more interesting.

The shadow just looks weird because there are streaks of different brightnesses and it isnt at the same angle as the stripes but theres nothing really unusual about that.
And I might try making a better one in future pieces

Dude! I gotta say that that neb work especially on the left is simply genius and Very well done! I still think the planet would have looked better with some swirls in it but it looks nice, besides that the red colours on the right look too saturated but the rest of the oranges are fantastic...with brushing and nebula skillz like the ones you've got now the possibilities are endless!

Alot of nebulae dont really have focal points, but I thought the nebula on the left was pretty dominant.
