I love this. I tried doing a nebula earlier today, but failed. But then got some inspiration from some of the pics in hameed's gallery and this was the outcome. Actually I think the secret to making nebulae is to start out by not intending to make one. Anyway...100% Photoshop
Probably only about 3-4 hrs
I think I might keep doing space type images, they seem to turn out better than other things I try.

very good nebula - one of the few nebulas around that can actually please me well
but one thing stands out - the small satelite right at the top. the shadow crescent moves too far down your piece for such a low lighting

Wow, I must have missed this one...nice job Sumo. You're really digging these space scenes lately, aren't you? I tried to do a few after I stumbled on Greg Martins site, but they didn't come out to well.
