Thanx... I once look a farm scene in hawkes bay that looked like a painting and have been trying to reproduce it ever since!

Springdale AR?? surely Arkansas has wilderness to burn Andrew? I'm definitely a foggy sunny type of guy when it comes to photos... I want to get the Sydney Harbour bridge in a big fog... one day! I'm going to the harbour tonight with some shots in mind... evening and night.

Oh yeah, it's beautiful over here. I have to admit I was exaggerating in my last message but rabid developing disturbs me. There was an amazing valley I used to drive by on my way to work every day. Now a strip mall stands in its place. How many strip malls do we really need?

How mmany strippers need to go shopping.....?? We have block malls... four stories, three blocks and easy to get lost!

We have tons of those too. A mall can be a good place to get stuff but six or more within 30 miles of each other is a bit silly.

That means a lot that you appreciate it as I do.. this style of photography is hard to encounter but one of my aims.... 30 years ago I did one of simple farmland with mists.. the photo has mould and colour distortion with time but its still one of my favourites!

Agree.... how dare he!!!!! I think if you look at your f stop and optimize the lenses ability then why not use it.... It does say CANON on the outside and not Tokina or Trubant!

Its the sunlight catching the low mist.. when I was sliding sliders at one stage that mist lit up most unnaturally.. he.. couldn't leave it.
I like the film idea.. which sweeping saga.. something from the American Civil War? With melvin Gibson???
