The scenery is awesome, but the focus is slightly out of place. Great point of view, and the light reflections on the water are *cool*

i have to say, i really like the composition on this one, i dont know if i have ever seen it like this. i also think the soft blue sky adds a lot. great choice on time of day. truely brilliant.

Thanx if you look the soft blue is actually a dense cloud that has picked up the city lights.... clear blue skies are good but this is interesting as well.

the only software is autopan pro.... to take the shots, tripod.. camera in portrait vertical mode not landscape... get an exposure from the brightest area then go to full manual and dial in the settings.. focus and then set the focus to manual so it doesn't shift. Don't use a polariser in the daytime as the colur will vary. set the white balance to anything but auto... hmmm
scan the scene on the tripod making sure the cam tracks true and level. then take the shots, overlapping but about 30%
Photoshop can stitch but in my examples poorly... oh and don't use the wide end of your lens as vertical distortions are more evident.

I kind of like the first-glance reflections on the water. The Blue, Yellow, then Red
When I looked closer I saw the smaller group of red-white-blue-yellow streams underneath the buildings.
Is that diamond on the bridge for the 75th anniversary or is it on there all of the time? Makes it look like it's bridging two casinos together or something.

Is that diamond on the bridge for the 75th anniversary ..correct! it changed into a coathanger symbol on a rotating basis.. the nickname for the bridge... only on there over NY and Xmas!
