Date: 5/6/2020I had 80% of this page complete a week after pg. 12 came out.........and yet here we are 5 and 1/2 weeks later. Amazing how motivation works huh
Also, about the move to Eclipse: MAGENTALOCKE will continue updating on DeviantArt, but I've been hearing a lot about ComicFury lately so I might add that to the list of sites you can read MAGENTALOCKE on. I'll post journals to keep you guys updated on any changes.
Notes:
- Magenta can't actually break the 4th wall and see the battle screen haha. I just threw it in for fun because Chester happened to be in the first slot of my party when I fought the Rocket with the illegal Raticate, and I was incredibly amused.
- Speaking of Raticate. HORRIFYING to fight. I forgot how strong those things were. I immediately switched out Chester and let Tiny handle most of the fight, but I had to use Princess to finish it off.
- I had a breakthrough? epiphany? something?? and I finally figured out how to draw water!!! I'm so happy with how it turned out π and just the other improvements in my art in general.
RULES:
1.Β Catch only the first PokΓ©mon encountered in each route/city/area.
2. If a PokΓ©mon faints it is considered dead and must be released immediately.
3. Nickname all captured PokΓ©mon.

the infamous raticate,, i wont lie ive lost some mons to it before. stab hyperfang this early in the game is broken. glad everyone got through, might have gone differently if princess wasn't evolved

oh god, it's THE raticate. Almost lost my starter to that thing's hyper fang.
I dunno if I missed it, but will you be doing color from now on then? Because I'm down for that :^) Also, I've noticed some quality loss in the image, perhaps you want o save your pages in png instead? Would help make things look sharper for sure.

Yeah that raticate is no joke! I'd heard about it before but this is my first time playing Pokemon Blue so I kind of forgot about it until I had to fight it. Thankfully nothing bad happened.
And yep! : ) All color from now on. The quality loss probably has more to do with me than the file type. I draw on really big canvases and then shrink them down, which... I could just draw on a smaller canvas and avoid the problem altogether but I'm too stubborn :/ plus the page is already a png : ( I'll fiddle with it and see what I can do.

Gosh darn PTSD! As soon as I saw the words "Hyper Fang" and the Raticate's big incisors, I really thought we lost Tiny to a critical hit...

If that Hyper Fang hadn't missed I don't know what would have happened.......but I was definitely scared that Tiny might go down. I remember holding my breath when I saw "HYPER FANG" appear on screen, so I'm kind of glad you felt the same fear I was feeling LOL
