Okay I am wondering... how do you create a speed paint? Do you use a crap ton of textures or something? And if you do... do you create the textures yourself? What program do you use? Sorry - Of course I love your work I just want to know.... cause I wanna learn!

I was just under the impression that speed paints were paintings done faster than usual. I couldn't say for definite, but I'm guessing he uses a few custom texture brushes, a lot of hard edged, high opacity brushes, and the dodge tool thrown in here and there to make all those nice glowy bits.
