Description
The way that Moonlight's dreams work is rather strange. Luna doesn't really explain to Moonlight in full detail due to her protective nature as well as keep him from possibly seeing Luna's nightmares and see what she had become. This causes Moonlight to be extremely unaware of his powers of able to skip to another pony's dreams or to even know more of his powers beyond that. Because he is also a descendant of Sombra he is capable of bringing others nightmares and practically scare the shit out of them if he pleases, but again, he has no clue what his true powers are or who Sombra is (even though Moonlight sees often a lot in his nightmares) This caused him to go through extreme turmoil until he finally couldn't take it anymore leading to telling Luna all about which had her to finally explain why this and that happens, but never saying who Sombra was. This caused Moonlight's trust towards his mother to dwindle a lot, having himself to only find the answers if Luna wasn't going to give him anything. Because of the friction between them, it causes Sombra to come out more visible in Moonlight's dreams and even interacting with him. Moonlight finds him to be rather terrifying.
