After the war started,she joined the forces of DAMMED as they came through their land seeking aid. Freyja bonded to Elliot Johnson in 2065 and together provided medical aid to their comrades. Towards the later part of the war, her home was massacred in an attack and she lost her son. After the war was over, the two continued to work in the field rather than on base except when called upon to return.
