Well, it's been a while since I've updated The Rising Sun, so I figured I'd draw some of the characters.here's Krys, the main character, with her fist pokemon Luna, the shiny Eevee, and Volt, the Manectric given to her by Ken after he died.
For those who have no idea what i'm talking about, The Rising Sun is the pokemon fanfiction i've been working on in my spare time, so, if you have the time, please read it, i would really appreciate it. ^^
Not enough people read literature on deviantart. :/
I don't really like the way her face came out. Dunno what it is, but it just doesn't seem like her. And her outfit may change next time I draw her. Haven't decided yet. I already drastically changed it from my notes. And I dunno if i'm gonna keep the hair color, cuz it looks too much like mine. lol
I personally like the way the two pokemon came out. They still look like their respective pokemon, but in my own style.
And i think I'm improving on my digital art. ^^
I'm gonna draw the guy (still haven't decided his name yet) and his Riolu, Enigma, for my next pic of my fanfic.

i really need to check da more often...also i just now noticed you have a char named volt and my jolteons name is the same although i have been wanting to change it to jolt since it fits better for me

They're journeying, but not for the gym badges like in the shows and games.
I have it set a bit in the future after natural disasters caused by Palkia and Dialga fighting (just my own idea of what could happen in the future of pokemon) wipe out most of the civilizations and everything has to start over, and an evil organization (where would pokemon be without these? haha) has brainwashed powerful pokemon to strike down any that oppose them (a bit like the Shadow pokemon I now realize. XD), so Krys, the main character, and another character she meets, who can understand pokemon's speech (he hasn't been officially introduced yet) end up searching for Arceus to put a stop to the organization and free the pokemon from their power.
haha I wrote a little novel comment.
I wanted to write one that was different from the tv series and the games, story-wise, and I wanted it to be more for what older readers would be interested in (not sex. lol). but less of the corny-ness that the tv show has.
I guess realistic would be a better term to use.
