Finally finished this one after a few months. >.>/fail.
So I hate the background... it looks like McDonald's had an accident. It originally was going to be a sunset... but then it turned into blood... which turned out to be a McDonald's crash, cool beenz, amirite? >>
Kind of looks like he plays catch with skulls too, IDK what he does in his spare time, probably kicks babies and laughs at the Drakkari as he sits his lazy butt in a floating oyster cracker (Could I explain that in a more stupid way or what?).

Anyway, it's Overlord Drakuru, probably my second favorite Troll in World of Warcraft... After Zul'Jin (Whom I'll draw sooner or later).
Drakuru is a great character. When he's not making you kill a bunch of things for their Mojo and having you run all over the place to help him come to life-- he's betraying you, becoming an Overlord for the Scourge, taking over Zul'Drak and giving you armor. xD
I thought he was awesome. *shrug*
He's damned fine too. ;3

YES! Oh awesome i was hoping someone had made a fanart of him.. I've just finished the first arc of his quest(s) And now I'm in the middle of the ebon watch questline with him and I mean he's totally still your buddy - he even makes that pretty choker for you!.. which granted, was supposed to turn you into a zombie but c'mon he's an Ice troll death knight, that's his thing- and then you have to betray him.. ;_; stupid Ebon Hold asses, making me all conflicted and stuff.
aaaanyway.. This is epic and I love the colors you used :3 Even the background.

I feel bad for poor Drakuru. I finished the questline yesterday and I felt bad when he yelled ' I never needed you mon, I can crush Zul'rak without ya', like he was really sad because of my betrayal, after I 'dumped' him. He was a revolutionary troll, his own kind was destroying themselves anyway. Nice skill at the coloring btw, xcept the background as you said (that background, in blue tones, would be better in my opinion). Keep up the good work.

I remember that quote well, yes. It was a bit sad, even as he threw dangerous blight crystals at me... But he's still a great character.
And I agree, I think blue or something might have been better.

OMG love.
The Drakuru questlines in Grizzly Hills and then in Zul'Drak were hands down my all time favorite in the entire game thus far. It really felt like Drakuru thought he was doing what was best for you. He was a true friend *tear* (except for the killing me several times on the last quest)
I got extremely choked up when I read the description of the teleporting item you loot with the skull after the lich king kills him. And the fact that my reward at the end of it all was a 'Choker of the Betrayer' made me feel like a slimeball.
Anyway, about the piece (lol) I really love what you can do with colored pencils! I especially like the hair and shading. Beautiful work <3

Drakuru was the best villain of the new expansion in my opinion.
Not only did he play my ass like a fiddle in Grizzly Hills, but he was NICE to me.
He betrayed me good and he was NICE about it. He wasn't all like 'Ohoho, I used you and now you are worthless to me!'. He was like, 'Hey, sorry 'bout that. Wanna go get coffee later?'
God, I love that guy.

He's so cool. I got such a mad video game crush on him during the Zul'Drak questline. He was just so nice to you! When that mean old Stefan Vadu told me to kill him, I was like 'WHAT?! No!'

I actually kind of like the background effect. If you wanted to see what would happen, maybe try adding some pink into it? I think it's the straight red-to-yellow that makes you think of McDonalds. XD
