The shock was worse than anything I had ever experienced in my life.
It felt like a part of me had died with you.
A piece of my heart was gone. One I knew I would never get back.
Ever since that day...The sun was never as bright and the nights seemed longer.
I loved you more than I thought I could ever love anyone.
I still do.
What I wouldn't give to see you just one more time so I could tell you...just how much you meant to me.
The pain you felt...I would have taken all of it gladly if it meant you could smile again.
But now...You don't feel any pain anymore and you never will again.
As much as it hurts me, there is some peace in knowing that.
