Well worth the effort, the colours stands out really well. Post production is needed sometimes just to lift the shot.

What kind of thing did you use for the colours? Or is it edited?

the colour thing was quite tricky. We used finger paint as a base. To get the right consitancy we used water and flour. To get the shooting effect we used a medical syringe. We had to do a lot of testing to achieve the right effect. Although there is still a lot of photoshopping involved

In the old times, a lot of effects where done by the laboratory and not by the fotografer. You can't develop a picture without any interpretation.
I use different systems, Canon EOS and Hasselblad. Some of the old pictures where done with a Mamiya RZ67ProII on 70mm film.
