It's about time I did some proper Pushing Daisies fanart.
Basically, Pushing Daisies is one of my favorite things in the entire world. I watch the episodes over and over again and they just get better the more times I watch them. A big part of this is because of the writing, headed by Bryan Fuller. It's just absolutely fantastic--whimsical and original and humorous and amazing. I could go on and on. The cast is impeccable, and the characters are wonderful. There's simply not anything else like it. And I guess people may be sick of me complaining about it, but its cancellation was a crime against humanity.
If you've never seen the show, I highly encourage you to. I can't even go to the plot right now because it's just too magical to condense.
So, here's Ned and Chuck (Charlotte Charles). I actually slightly prefer Ned/Olive as a couple... just a little bit, but Ned/Chuck is, of course, unbearably sweet, and their romance is the staple of the show. They are awesome.
Slightly new coloring style based on 's style. I mean, I wasn't intentionally copying, but I decided to do highlights as she illustrates in her tutorial. I quite like the effect.

I love Pushing Daisies! This is great! I love the bright colors everyone wears (especially Olive and Chuck) and the red red you put Chuck in is lovely.

I love this! They look enough like the characters to be instantly recogniseable, yet they are so obviously your style. Eurgh, the show was awesome. I missed a few episodes throughout the 2nd series, but god the ending wasn't what it deserved... D:

I really miss that show. If I ran ABC, I would get rid of those god awful reality shows, put Pushing Daisies back on the air, and start airing the new season of Lost now instead of waiting until January 2010.
