Very nice I am finally glad someone did a fanart piece of Graphix in Jem style. In my own personal Jem fanfiction I added Graphix to my story. There are certain similarities to how they wished to do with her originally I just changed certain aspects of her backstory and which band she aligns with. In many ways she is similar to the original design for her and looks the same as she does like in this pic here. Eric Raymond essentially hired her because she is a graphic artist and she designs album covers, logos and promotional materials for both the Misfits and the Stingers. However in my version she prefers the Misfits and is a huge fan of them all though she likes The Stingers as well. She also has her Video Distorter that can wreck Jem's music videos. However it can also double as a weapon for her and can function essentially like a bladed pin wheel. However the major difference for my take on her is her backstory. Her civilian name is still Gwendolyn Snyder however instead of being a spoiled, wealthy valley girl she is a Southern Girl from New Orleans. In many ways she fancies herself as a sassy, sultry Southern Belle and has a habit of putting on airs. In certain respects I was inspired by Betty White's character of Ellen Harper in The Family skits on the Carol Burnett show which of course would later become the Mama's Family TV show. I was also inspired by Rogue from the X-Men specifically the 90s X-Men the animated series version and even Blanche Devereaux from the Golden Grls. However again her story is quite different. My version of Graphix was essentially born as a love child in New Orleans to a single and destitute prostitute. She hated her mother because her mother to her was weak. Her mother apparently had an affair with a cop when he was in New Orleans briefly and when he left her to go back to his wife this broke her mother's heart making her essentially a shell of her former self and she was a highly neglectful mother to young Gwendolyn. Gwendolyn always had dreams of money and power and much like another famed Southern Belle Scarlett O'Hara of Gone With the Wind she vowed to do whatever it takes to raise herself up from poverty no matter the cost. Whether she would have to lie, cheat or kill and she did all of these things when necessary she would do whatever she had to, to liberate herself from these circumstances. Young Gwendolyn showed at aptitude for graphic design and art and through her own skills at design and a keen fashion and make up reinvented herself as Graphix. She was also a very good singer and excellent at playing the electric violin. She also showed a talent for engineering as she was the one who designed her famous video distorter which doubled as a weapon when she would need to fight and/or protect herself. She eventually fell into the employment of a famous Drug Lord in New Orleans called Juliette "Canopy"Noirceuil. She at first admired Canopy as Canopy was charismatic, intelligent and could be charming in certain instances but eventually she saw just how cruel, evil, sadistic, narcissistic and malicious that Canopy was and how insufferable she could be. During a Drug War with Canopy's Rival Justine "Pharmacy" Facilier. Both sides of their respective teams were decimated and unlike Pharmacy who protected her people when they were in danger. Canopy had no such compunctions and would gleefully dispose of her own people in terrible ways should they exceed her use to them and it was Graphix who sold out information on Canopy to Pharmacy to save her own life and essentially Pharmacy and Canopy's teams were decimated with the only known survivor of the teams at the time being Graphix however Canopy essentially now wants her dead for her betrayal. Graphix is as I said before hired by Eric Raymond to be a Graphic Designer and she also joins the Misfits as a band becoming the Fifth Member and playing the Electric Violin.
