There are no apex Pokemon known to mess with a fully evolved Tyrantrum. They rule the land with fear and sheer displays of raw power. A Tyrantrum's upper jaw is a full extension of this power and holds all of its vampiric abilities. Once a bite is landed, very few Pokemon will be able to withstand its force nonetheless survive the energy drain that comes after the initial shock. Even others such as Melanostorm, Aerodactyl, or Arctodon know when the battle is over and to retreat. There has been only one recorded instance of a Tyrantrum losing to a Bulltaurus in an overwhelming defeat. This has been only known based on speculation from a lone Pokemon that wandered into the volcanic regions. Trainers beware as taming this Pokemon is almost impossible from the wild. Only Tyrunt's raised from birth will consider a trainer worthy of obeying as a Tyrantrum. It's said the bigger a frill on the Tyrantrum, the more life it has drained over the years.
