Kovu and Kion both having a scar is kind of weird to me? I personally don't think Kovu should have one verses Kion cause he already looks kind of like scar. and he was raised by/alongside Zira and scar's kids.

and I would like if Kion was the only one to get a scar on the eye, and he did more evil stuff to the point he either couldn't forgive himself, or thought there was no hope for him.
And maybe it was unexpected, for kion to suddenly turned evil, or revealed himself after he's been plotting,

Kion's motives would maybe be how he thought that the outland animals were being mistreated by pride rock, so he decides to side with them, and have a fight with kovu after he and kiara have kids?

basically I would like if evil kion stuck around a little longer.
