Thank you. I started out as a portrait artist but never used the tortillons much before. I am having to relearn some things now that I've picked some up recently. βΊ

Lol! I know that same feeling for sure! Especially when trying to do small details around eyes and hair... I get rather frustrated with them too. π

Hmmmm... Never thought to use small paint brushes for that before. Great idea! Thanks for the tip. π
Thank you. βΊ

I have a hard time remove graphite or charcoal after I have used a tortillon, with a brush it doesn't seem to "press" the graphite/charcoal into the paper so much so I can remove it a lot easier. sometimes I feel like I am going to erase through my paper Β Β

Lol! I hear that. I don't actually have any pencil sketching paper right now as I have been concentrating on comic book work so much. I have some Copic Bleedproof paper I picked up for my copic markers. I had been using only card stock. I found the Copic paper incredibly irritating to use as it caused the markers to burst and spit ink everywhere... Plus it is extra thin, which I've never been a fan of for the erasing reasons you mentioned. So I decided to try it for pencil sketching yesterday... The Copic marker art paper turned out to be great for pencil art! π lol
Plus it doesn't rip or wear thin easily with a lot of erasing. π

ROFL!!!! Too funny sir! I am sure Al Gore thanks you for that too! π Perhaps a swear jar is a good idea too.... Lol!
I use to have the same opinions of markers trust me... But if you put your mind to it and just try it, it's really not that scary. I bet you could use markers too if you tried.... Just don't toss too many away. π We don't want the tree huggers too upset. Lol!
