The practical uses of paw boots are endless
Good drawing though! I can't draw humans to save my life XD

I'm not interested enough to draw humans, since I mostly like to draw my characters and those are Pokemon and cats(though a few do have human forms but like I said I don't draw humans). The anatomy is probably better than I would have done though XD
so sorry about taking so long on my half of the art trade though. I don't want to do it when I'm not motivated to, since it will come out crappy and I'll feel bad about it, but who knows when that will be? Don't worry though, I have every intention of finishing it, though it may take a bit

Yeah, I do have a few human/humanoid characters, so I guess I want to figure out how to draw people so I can draw them XD I've actually drawn them a lot before on paper using a method my friend uses (she's super good though). That didn't work so well for me, because she just sketches out the whole thing without using figures (like where you draw a bunch of shapes and lines to represent stuff, I really have no idea what that's legitimately called.). I used figures for this drawing and it came out much better than my people usually do XD
there's no need to apologize! just take your time - its fine! I know how that is trying to draw when you just really really dont want to, and stuff comes out badly. i can be plenty patient X3

I have like two that used to be humans, but I haven't really thought about their lives as humans much. Besides, it's not a main part of the stories their in anyways, and I usually draw scenes from the actual books(with exceptions like for Blank's ackstory and stuff; I draw that kind of stuff a lot too).
And yeah, I know what you mean. I cannot draw without them, since they just show me where everything is supposed to go and if it looks bad or not. I used to think they were the most unnecessary things when I was little though, so I would try and draw without using them, and they never turned out good.
And I think they're called guidelines or something XD
I'm glad you understand XD I just didn't want you to think I decided not to do it or anything. I'm not making any statements about when it will be done, but hopefully I'll get to it when I get back in the swing of things.

Oh, yeah. Most of the characters I draw just have backstories only I know XD pshh I dont even draw my PMD team enough XD
I can draw cats without them (the only thing I need is a circle for the head) and then I just make a weird rough sketch. I know my drawing process is a lot less... 'traditional' I guess you could say. XD
Yeah, that's perfectly fine! Just take your time.

So do mine. The only thing about said human characters is that I haven't fully realized what theirs are yet. Something about an evil organization and Giratina? Maybe something about a sister? Like I said, I have no idea what I'm going to do with them yet.
I definitely wouldn't call mine traditional. My method is 'sketch until you're sick of sketching then do the rest'. At least, that's the philosophy on paper. On computer(for lined drawings) It's sketch, sketch again but with more detail, line art, colours and background(they may alternate), shade, and then fiddle more with the lighting and stuff until I'm satisfied. It's pretty set now since if I record a speedpaint I can't spend an hour on the sketch alone.
Side note, I really hate how my computer thinks I spelled 'colour' wrong. I'm not British, but I like using this spelling more and it really bugs me.

Somehow I read that as "an evil organization and a giraffe" XD
That actually sounds pretty cool, considering Giratina can make other dimensions and stuff. Plus Giratina's a pretty badass Pokemon as it is XD
I only spend about 10% of the drawing time on the sketch, haha. Though, for this drawing I made a pose thing with just basic shapes then made a rough sketch, sketched it out one more time then lined it. So, I think it depends on the drawing? I guess I don't have a set way to do things, I just sketch as I see fit. XD
I always get frustrated when that happens so I add things to the dictionary. That wasn't a good idea because now my computer has tons of words that it thinks are actual words but actually are not words. (Mostly names from old fantasy stories XD)

That would make an epic story.
Yeah, I've been wanting to make something with Giratina for a long time, but the previous stories all got shelved since they were underplanned or just plain stupid. Now I think I have the right ideas but I need to settle everything before I start drawing them. For this reason, I may have to rewrite Discord AGAIN(for like the sixth time if you count unfinished rough drafts), since it doesn't really fit with how I want it to fo.
I like the initial time spent sketching on paper, so that's what I spend a lot of time with. That, and the fact that I use pencil to shade all my drawings which takes forever and a day on huge ones. Let's just say, making Kallo completely black was a huge mistake. Don't even get me started on matching the shades!
So do I XD If you typed the names 'Kallo', 'Lumos, 'Loon', and 'Clinch, over and over, you'd have a problem too. I usually only add names to my dictionary though, since other things are needless to me.

I have so many unfinished stories on my computer XD
There literally are at least 10 stories on here with nothing but a title page and one sentence (I'm probably going to trash them soon XD)
The only other Pokemon story I've started was a SoulSilver nuzlocke but I never did anything with it because I had no idea where I was going with it, plus it would be easier to play a legit Nuzlocke alongside it. But I'm too attached to my SoulSilver Pokemon to restart the game XD
Oh my gosh, again? XD I honestly think Discord is quite good as it is now, but I suppose if you have a good idea to work into it, then it might be worth a rewrite.
Just about the only way I can shade on paper properly is if I use my fingers to smudge things (luckily I have a small notebook with smudge resistant paper so it doesn't get everywhere like on normal paper, though it does take a little more vigor to get it to look right). Though, I do hate it when you have a really good drawing and then you go to shade it and it turns out looking terribly.
Well I used to write a story about dragons (they were the only stories I've finished, and there were like 12 different novels. It was kind of like Warriors but with dragons XD) and I had so many characters and weird terms that dragons used in their vernacular so I have words like diltch and ylnir saved onto my computer. (both of which were substitutes for curse words since I wrote these when I was like 9. I'm pretty sure diltch meant bitch and ylnir meant shit but I never wrote it down XD)

If my old computer wasn't broken, I'd have like twenty incomplete emo yaoi stories with werewolves and overdramatic cutting scenes. (okay, not really. maybe like three with the cutting thing). You could say I went through an emo/edgy depressed wannabe scene kid yaoi faze back in sixth grade. Thankfully, last year I grew up and just worked on Missing and Claws and Caterwauls(which wasn't much better, since everything was just mirroring warriors and stuff), and finally I'm in eighth grade and I'm mildly satisfied with how everything's going. Almost no incomplete stories due to my policy of planning for a month or two before even typing a word, since by then if I'm not bored with the story, I'll know it's a keeper. Heh, I've toyed with the idea of a nuzlocke. In the end, I decided not to, and to maybe start a Nuzlocke lets play once I get a decent mic. for my computer. Much less time consuming.
Something about Discord has always really bugged me. I really love where I want to go with it, but I may have to do some major refining and replanning before I try again. Something has always been missing and I want to fix it. Rootless is where I want it to be though, so that should be updated fairly frequently.
I don't like doing that, since it smudges the markings and stuff. No, if I shade, I have to darken everything by hand, which is hard. I've also tried coloured pencils and that had good results, but on the second day of school someone stole like half of my prismacolors, and left only the stupid colours I couldn't use.
I've never gotten to far into a story due to my inability to finish something without rewriting a lot. In the recent year or so, I've decided to not rush into things, but before if I even got the slightest urge I would start typing, which is not a good way to go for me. That was why I had like six incomplete, three-chaptered fanfictions when I first got back on my old Wattpad account.

Oh my gosh, that's great XD
I have like 4 stories about people on my computer, three of which were collaborative stories with my friend (I was half forced into writing them haha). I like to sift through my files and reread them just to find all the mistakes and poorly used literary elements and whatnot. I always found writing about people wasn't as fun as it was with animals. I'm not sure why, though.
Hm, yeah, I understand the feeling when something seems amiss in your writing. When that happens to me, I mostly ignore it and just try to restructure parts of it (that usually makes me feel a bit better about it).
I usually do the markings last, though the process I have takes forever either way.
Oh, that sucks! I've had people take my stuff before so now if I ever even bring art supplies to school I keep it in my backpack and keep a close eye on it when its out. Though, I usually dislike coloring drawings for no particular reason. I have a notebook that has I think around 70 or 80 pages in it and I've almost filled the entire thing. Only two drawings have any color at all, and one of them is just a small shading experiment using colors XD
When I was younger I wrote on every whim I had, thus I have almost 100 documents (maybe more?) on my computer XD Clearly I was not the smartest writer when I was in 5th grade.
