Description I'm currently in love with Victorian style clothing

I put a lot into this drawing because this is actually a 'lost' request for a friend. Good thing she remembered it and notified me about it. It she didn't I may never have done this for her OTL

I was supposed to color this with Faber Castels but somehow I decided that I should practice on my penwork first so I did this as a black and white. I used various pens, a 0.3 G-Tec, 0.7 Pentel Gel Pen, 0.5 Dong-A, 5B and HB Staedtler pencil, Stabilo eraser, Sharpie marker, a dip pen and white ink . After I filled the dress with black I thought it was kind of lacking. I remembered that I had a dip pen and white ink so I added some curvy lines that .

The original hard copy looks soooo different from what I scanned OTL. Maybe because I didn't edit it nicely in PS?

yes, EGL's are pretty. did you use brightness/contrast, curves or levels? Levels is usually the best tool.

I only use levels XD. I mostly duplicate the layer and apply a low-pixel gaussian blur for softness.

Well it usually doesn't appear the actual way when you scan something on a scanner, so you need to tweak the adjustments everytime. You've paid hardwork with the intricate design, nice!
