Description
Deep within the forests, where no body dared to go. There were demonic creatures. Creatures that would kill anyone at the first chance they got. Those who did go wondering were never seen again.

No one believed it howether. The villagers of every town would simply live their lives and forget about the rumours... Which were true.

Although, there were heroes. Living amongst others as if they were normal. They weren't. They held unbelievable stregnth and power. The heroes were killed by a ruler. Of darkness. Not many lived today.

The young prince named Sonic of a village called Deltimar was sitting on a roof top, he looked down at the citizens. His eyes caught a thief. He smirked.

"Oh no you don't" He thought aloud.

He climbed down from rooftop and followed the shady character. He carefully made sure he wasn't detected.

The thief grabbed a piece of meat from a meat store and power walked away from the market.

Sonic walked faster until he spotted the thief going down an alley. He followed him down there.

"Hey!" Sonic shouted. "Don't you know it's bad to take something that isn't your?!"

The snatcher turned around and removed it's long, brown cloak. It's long furry jaw opened and revealed it's sharp teeth.

Sonic gasped and started walking backwards. He took out his tiny slingshot from his red, velvet cloak and tried to aim at the beast. His hands were shaking.

"I-i'm not af-fraid of you" He lied.

The beast smelt his fear and walked towards him. It laughed evilly.

Suddenly,out of nowhere. A dog came and barked at the tall, furry creature. The beast growled back and jumped onto a roof. It ran away.

Sonic looked at the dog and smiled. He knew who it belonged to. "Rex, you saved me. Thanks!"

The dog let out a playfully bark and rolled over. Sonic picked up the little dog and rubbed it's head.

"Seriously Sonic. You shouldn't be acting like a hero all the time. You're gonna get yourself killed"

The male hedgehog looked at the person speaking. It was a female hedgehog. She wore a formal, purple dress with pearls all around it, a purple hairband and a lilac cloak. She had tied her quills into tiny pigtails which made her look adorable to the public.

"A-Amy?" Sonic asked in shock.

Amy continued talking. "Who knows what could happen to you. You're only 10! Who were you talking to anyway?"

Sonic couldn't speak. He was still in shock. He had never seen something so ugly in his life.

"It was a Slaverine" A voice said.

Sonic and Amy turned towards the voice. A woman in a long, red dress approached them.

"That was one of the creatures that have been habiting the forests. It feeds off fear and rips you apart"

"H-how do you know?" Sonic asked, now feeling anxious.

The woman smiled. She removed the glasses from her eyes. They were crystal white. She was blind.

"I was a hero many years ago. I have battled them many times before. And now, they're back. These creatures were brought back by an evil ruler-"

"Like in the rumours? That person killed the heroes?" Amy interrupted.

The woman nodded and looked towards the castle. "All shall become clear in time. For now, I advice you watch over yourselves until the time is right"

She walked away. Sonic and Amy stared at eachother and shrugged. They walked back out to the market. They looked at the stores and the different variety of stuff for sale.

"Hey you two" A salesman called out.

Sonic and Amy looked at the man and walked towards him. He smiled at them. Rex the dog jumped up at the man, beggin for attention.

"How about you take these dog treats. They're organic and sure to keep your little friend happy"

He showed them the dog treats. Rex whined pleadingly. Amy giggled. She picked up her dog and rubbed his belly.

"I don't think we have a choice. We'll take them!" Amy comfirmed.

The salesman handed over the dog treats. He recieved 12 gold pieces that Sonic had gave him.

"I'll throw in a pouch for just 5 gold pieces. It's the latest trend. Every kid is getting them" He lied.

Sonic rolled his eyes and the cunning man persuaded him to hand over his gold. He gave the man what he wanted and took the pouch.

"Pleasure doing buissness with you. Prince Sonic, Lady Amy"

The pair nodded and walked away. Amy cuddled the little dog in her arms. Sonic watched her and smiled. Amy only got the dog 2 months ago and already they were close.

"Thanks for the treats Sonic. Rex loves them" She said, handing a treat to the dog.

Sonic nodded. "That man is crafty. Taking so many gold pieces from me like that"

Amy giggled. "Okay, if I can remember, you gave him the gold. Also, you're the prince. You have a lot of gold"

"My father does" Sonic corrected her.

"Still" Amy began. "You're rich!"

Sonic turnd to the girl and folded his arms. "So are you. Your the one wearing pearls!"

"Mother chose it for me. It's real silk"

The blue hedgehog imitated her. She growled playfully at him. While the two were teasing eachother, Rex had jumped out of Amy's arms and barked. He ran off.

"Rex!" Amy gasped as she followed the dog.

Sonic followed both of them. Rex stopped in a different alley. Amy grabbed him.

"You naughty doggy! You scared me" She scowled him.

Rex barked and looked in the direction of the market. Amy was about to walk when Sonic grabbed her.

"Look!" He said, pointing towards the market.

There were men in black suits and on horses. They rode through the village. Everyone screamed and ran back to their house. A wolf in red and stopped and looked down the alley.

Sonic lowered down and dragged Amy down with him. He covered her mouth whilst assuring the dog by stroking his head.

The wolf turned back to the castle. He rode towards it on his huge horse. Sonic got up and climbed onto a roof. He grabbed Amy by her waist.

"Sonic?" Amy asked quietly. Sonic didn't reply.

He continued to climb onto the roof. When he reached the top, he jumped from roof to roof. Amy gasped with Rex in her arms.

Sonic stopped after he finally reached the castle. He put Amy down and listened from his room.

They heard screaming and the slashing of swords. Sonic gasped and covered his mouth.

"What's going on down there?" He asked demandingly.

He was about to open his door when Amy stopped him. "Are you mad?" She asked angrily. "What are you gonna do with a wooden sword and a slingshot?"

Sonic turned to the girl and glared at her. "My mother, father, brother and sister are downstairs and need help-"

"Please" Amy begged.

Just as he was about to go. The strange woman from the market showed up. The kids gasped.

"You must leave" She said.

Blue boy growled. "My family are down there. They need me!"

"All shall be revealed in time" she repeated.

She grabbed all three and teleported out of the room. The wolf in a black and red suit kicked the door open and looked around.

"What are your orders, master?" A man in black asked.

The wolf looked over his shoulder. "Search the village. I want every hero dead"
