My red is so confident that he flashes trophies of war and
Ribbons of euphoria
Orange is young, full of daring,
But very unsteady for the first go round
My yellow in this case is not so mellow
In fact I'm trying to say its frigthened like me
And all these emotions of mine keep holding me from
Giving my life to a rainbow like you

It wasn't until I heard this song that I got the inspiration for this picture *points above*.
When I originally planned on drawing a picture of Stonce (my alter-ego Sunshine's son) with his father, Throttle, they were both going to be older, and standing side by side. However, I opted for something where Stonce was younger.
In this picture, Stonce is around 4 or 5 years old because that's around the time Throttle became a part of his life. At the time Stonce was born, Throttle was a Freedom Fighter. Then as Stonce grew, Throttle was on Earth. So, there was a definite rift between father and son.
Of course, it didn't help matters any that Sunshine's family doesn't care that much for Throttle, and Sunshine has a certain man in her life who would like to be a husband to her and a father to Stonce. But Sunshine disagrees.
This left Sunshine to be a single mother, and she became extremely over protective of him. Stonce became a sort of 'momma's boy,' but at least she taught him how to respect women, so I can't complain.
Throttle does eventually return home and become a full-time father, which bridged the gap between them. But it wasn't easy, by any means.

I'm currently working on more pictures of Stonce (and other characters in his life), but right now it's hell to try and keep everything straight and in order, so bear with me There are plenty of pictures of him throughout my DeviantArt gallery (all of them out of order, lol), for those interested.
