Description Where the frag this should go is utterly beyond me.

This is Sunstar, in robot mode. She is a personal repaint that I did recently.

What she is originally based on is a G2 Starscream with G1 Thundercracker wings and Skywarp tail bits. Currently I need to get weapons and fists as well as an array of missiles.

I took the transformer full apart and washed it in warm soapy water. I hope someone tells me an easier way to remove the canopy section from the torso.

After that I had taken all the parts and gave them a good coat of Citidel primer. (from games workshop). This is a fine primer that doesn't seem to clog details and stinks to high hell.

Once that was fully dry I sprayed the parts lightly a few times. I used Testors Spray enamel Sapphire blue with metal flake and Testors Purple metal flake and a Model Master Black metal flake.

The head I painted with a light grey acrylic and a red acrylic for the optics.

The Stickers I got from reprolables.com [link] I used Skywarp's sticker design and had them recolour it to be blue and a mirror gold. To me these colours worked out amazingly well. I also got a set of heat rub stickers from them. I highly recommend them for the stickers when you do repaints.

this is great.....no......it's amazing. the coloers, the stikers....you went the distant with this beauty.
i love making working (transformable) transformers, but i tend to make them from scrach (or cheep &/or imitation toys).
i can't bring myself to riping apart a toy that is in good condition.

did you buy parts off of Ebay or did you make this from toys you had in your home?

I bought parts off ebay and conventions. I don't like hurting toys, but this one spoke to me.

Looks good.

But yes, fists would be nice.

I second that. Though it did give me a most unholy plotbunny - "The Seeker Without Hands," loosely inspired by the Girl Without Hands (one of the creepiest fairy tales ever).
