EDIT: I think I fixed the blur problem! >.<This is my finished prize for for winning the Hatchlings Contest 2011! Congrats to her ^^
WHY DOES EVERYTHING I PAINT "WITHOUT BG" END UP WITH A NICE BG?! And I know the wings look a little small...
Ah well, silver paint mess made the scanner implode. Looks much more stunning in RL due to glowy shiny colors. To all those who I owe art I will be starting asap, school is nuts and I am so busy

I'd love to be able to see it in person for the sake of fully enjoying the shiny silver experience! I like how grungy the silver looks; it adds a nice texture to the image. The colourful blue and green background looks nice behind the mostly-grey dragon as well!

Oh wow... Yes, the difference is subtle, but the linework does look much more crisp now. The silveriness of the shading and of the spots in the background is also more evident.
I've found that as a rule, scanners don't deal well with metallic linework. I have to do quite a bit of tweaking in Photoshop to get the metallic things to look shiny, usually with that magical dodge/burn tool.

Yeah, it is weird, but I guess its just my computer =/
Well my scanner did an OK job, but its mainly my computer that is acting up with the submissions. Everything else looks fine!

I know! Or I try to use a different color to shade (ffff I did not use purple this time!) and it ends up THAT color xD
