Thanks! Β I've spent a lot of time learning anatomy, so it's not much of a problem anymore...The real trick is trying to get the comic proportions right.

Always loved scupts like this.Β  Mind if I ask a few questions, what kind of material do you use, polymer clay maybe? how do you harden it? I would think polymer would be less likely to explode (verses kiln fired clays) but then as big as it is how do you heat it? sorry for being so nosey, just always loved stuff like that and the few sculpting classes I took at college were all abstract/non-objective "ick" boring.

Sorry, I just started getting back on recently. Β I used super sculpey firm on this one. Β Yes, it's polymer clay. Β You just bake it in the oven to harden it. Β You can cut it and bake it in separate pieces if it's big or buy a giant bbq cooker...I just cut it, since they usually need to be keyed anyway. Β Thanks!

Thanks Tim! I just twisted up some floral wire, formed the shape of the hand and poured on a fair amount of glue. Nothing too fancy...I'd post a pic but the hand has already been covered with clay...haha sorry bro!
