Thanks Ann, it looked easier than it was, the Head and Body consisted of three parts which had to be sewn togther in a very unusual way. It definitely wasn´t a Jean Greenhowe Pattern cos it was only roughly explained

I used to many years ago. It's not often you need woolies here . I used to knit mittens and little matinee jackets and once knitted a cardigan for David. The arms were too long. Only because his mother told me he had very long arms and I'd need to make them longer than the pattern. His father ended up with it. I think that must have been her plan all along . I think I knitted it with Fishermans Rib?

Hey that´s great... I think that must have been really her plan, a new pulli for Hubby I like knitting small items i.e all the plushies cos all the parts knit up really quick and when it starts to take shape it can be very motivational. I used to knit fancy pullovers for Paul´s Aunt, she owns a wool shop and used to get orders from customers. "Intarsien"  I think is what they were called, with sometimes up to 12 different balls of wool knitted on one needle where you had to cross all the wools at the back to knit on in the next colour/type. It was a pain when starting the next row if you turned the work the wrong way and got all the wools in an even bigger mess   on more occasion than enough I felt like throwing the lot into the corner and walking out never to look at it again. Still she paid me well for the work and some were "Works of Art" when finished. I might have some pictures of me  modeling them when they were finished. I might post some if I can find them that is. They´ll be about 30 years old ha ha ha

Yes. I think that might have been her plan. That is the only "big" think that I ever made .

That "Intarsien" sounds very complicated I don't think I would have got past the first two rows

It would be interesting to see the work if you can find the photos
