A very late update....
So here it is, my progress log of my little bros shield for his toon/young link cosplay. He wore it at ALA 2010 for a little bit.

I based the design & colors off the Hylian Shield. It took me roughly 3 days to make...so it was a rather quick project for me at least. I got lazy and didn't bother to make the back of the shield all nice and what not because I was rushing to get this finished by ALA. The shield was made of foam and cardboard, and proportioned to my 9 year old brother's body.
