been crazy busy today getting ready for Dallas Comic Con this weekend! nevertheless, i still managed to get a warmup sketch in today. here we have Luke Cage, AKA Power Man, Hero for Hire. did this as a companion to my iron fist piece [link] since the two of them were a duo in the '80s (hey, just like hall & oates! haha) and members of the new avengers.i always liked luke's '70s tiara costume better than his t-shirt and jeans look these days. so much more 'comic book-y.'
