this is a warmup sketch suggestion from way back, from sorry it took so long!this is Marrow, who was a prominent member of the X-men in the late '90s. I wasn't a fan of hers back then, but she was actually fun to draw! One thing I do remember about her is she started out really grotesque and as time went by, Joe Mad drew her prettier and prettier. haha No idea what her status is in the books these days!

Last thing I knew from her was that Storm teared her heart and she grew a new one (that was around 2000 so lots of things may have changed)

awesome job joe! i love it. now to answer your question: marrow is currently depowered and is hanging out with callisto and some other morlocks. i really liked her first apperance and having 2 heart-one actually being a bomb-was a cool idea.

Yeah, Marrow was a villain at the time until Storm went berserk and tore her heart out. I did like how Joe Mad made her look, she of course did start to look a bit prettier.

that's right. Joe Mad was such a badass back then! not that he's still not great, but i never get tired of breaking out his old x-men issues.
