it's just that i feel endlessly inspired by it! now i know what they mean when they say getting into a fandom made them improve like crazy. this is so awesome. though to be honest i'd like my gallery not to be filled with only one piece... oh but gosh it would be awesome if i could draw every single op character. like you know, pokedex challenge - one piece edition! yeah there's an idea

this guy is legit one of the most awesome characters ever. i just love his design! i remember wanting to draw him the first i ever saw a picture of him. it's pretty sad he's so unpopular - even in pixiv i got only under 500 results for "ジンベエ", what the heck

and dunno what happened but lately i've been getting attached to big and round characters and pokémon. yo have you noticed how much emboar and jinbei resemble each other? i mean look at my original sketch: [link]
yeah okay could also be my very very bad memory and not remembering what jinbei looks like at first hahaha

aaalllso i don't think i've ever colored water and i've also drawn it only veeeeeeeeeery rarely... it's just super hard okay ;_; but i definitely need to practice it

AHH ONE MORE THING how the hell does his capey jacket thing stay on??? oda said the marine big shots' jackets stay on with the power of justice but what about jinbei?
