K so this kid is my new obsession.I tried that cartoon-realism mix again, HOW DO PEOPLE DO THAT SO WELL? errgh it's really hard to find a style to stick to. Especially when I've spent the last 8 years drawing nothing but dogs basically lmao. Dogs aren't gone for good don't worry, I'm just having so much fun with people.
Her hair is a little dark, and I added a beauty mark, maybe she gets that as her skin gets more than as she gets older. but yeah here's more Layla.

Nice! I do like the shading of her face. May I suggest something? Her choker/neck ornament looks painted onto her skin. If that isn't your intention, perhaps you could try giving it volume, draw a double-line where you can see from top of it and away from the neck at the sides to show it is another object on the neck.

I actually just threw it on at the last minute and didn't give it much mind, but I see what you mean- it's like a collar lol. I needed to give it more depth, so there's always next time
