oh thanks slow shutter .. and photografy amateur just starting at 2:00 am mexico's streets are speedways for some sort of fast and furious hah! also taxis enter that race

this looks like you used a pretty wide aperture...was it under F6 ? Try getting some shots with a higher aperture and a slower shutter speed, it will give a better sence of motion and direction. cheers
