Another fanart... if I ever manage to finish all of them, I shall put them together.Julius Monrey, the clockmaker in a (manga/game) series called "Wonderful wonder world", "Alice in the country of hearts" or "Heart no kuni no Alice". He is my favorite, but I totally blew him...I broke his hands... XD

Als ik aan Grell en de Undertaker van Kuroshitsuji denk... waar ik ontzettend gek van ben, van allebei... dan zou ik kunnen besluiten dat dat ook voor mij geldt.

Hm....have you tried using a blur filter on the background? I feel he disappears into the harsh oversaturated background rather than stand out.
Other than that, not many complains. Maybe a pointer for the design. Long coats like that often destroy the body shape, and no different here. The chest, waist and hips are one straight line now. Maybe add a strong belt to accentuate his body lines a bit. Every character should have unique body shape.
Still great work, I like the coloring of the character itself. He reminds me of Alex from Golden Sun, one of my favorites. [link]

I gave up on that background. I only drew it quickly so the character wouldn't just be floating, then I noticed the colours weren't right (too much blue for the blue-ish character), then I tried to fix that and now it is an eyesore. I'll keep it in mind for the next one.
It is a fanart, so I just redrew the character design. I have to say you're right though, it's a shame to cover up the body shape with some weird coat.
