This is possibly my favourite James/Sirius picture! I just love those little smirks, so very them.

I can see the "not wanting to mess with james/lily" but I think that's more a justification than a reason. You know? Like when you fall in love with something you can't help it, you don't stop being in love just because it gets in the way of another pairing.
