Euphemia "Effie" Sheldrake is my 'main' OC for the time period surrounding the Harry Potter books. Effie's the same age as the Harry and his friends. She doesn't have a problem with them for the most part, aside from the fact that they're constantly in the center of whatever trouble there is at school every year. She gives up on wishing for a "normal" school year by the end of third year lol She even ends up the defacto leader of the small group of Slytherins who join Dumbledore's Army I refuse to accept the Slytherins=evil that the main series pushes, fight me She has a knack for potions and charms and is considering becoming a healer.

Joining Effie is her little sister, Theodosia "Thea", and Beauxbatons student Florian Proulx.

Thea's about three years younger than her sister and cares more about quidditch than just about anything else. Just a real sweet kid tbh

Florian, a Metamorphmagus, was among the students from Beauxbatons that came to Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament. He's considered one of the top duelists at his school, and he's quite popular with the Hogwarts girls (and some of the boys). He and Effie went to the Yule Ball together; they even keep up with each other after the end of the school year.
