Description
I made this picture earlier in the year during the university term. I had started to add surface detailing to my pictures and I decided I would push that to the limit with this one. It's a technique I rarely use, with what I think is the only example being the Type 44 Brawler from a long time ago. But for this one, I paid far more attention to textures and lighting. I doubt this will be the last you'll see of this technique.

Robot-wise I wanted to pull thing back to my early ideas about robot characters. This chap's a storyteller. He wanders from village to village exciting children with tales of monsters, heroes, and dashing bearded me with walking sticks. The kids love him. He might also be a wizard. Nobody's certain.
